Well, G1 was better than G2, which was better than G3, which was better than G3.5 — shingles is better than G3.5 — and G4 was hugely superior to all of them, and G5 was not as good as G4. I don't see a trendline here. I still have hope that Hasbro will see the error of its ways and go back to 2D graphics, interesting characters and good writing. Someday...

I think Gen 4 was kind of a miracle. I don’t think they’ll be able to replicate its success, especially when their goal is to sell cheap toys. I guess the point of my post was “What if Gen 6 is even worse?”
